The Virgin Media App enables users to purchase the latest movies and TV shows, watch trailers, and explore content across various categories. Virgin Media sought to develop a new EST service for their app. Oodles handled client-side development using Native JavaScript with the Tivo Library, ensuring a seamless UX for TV Box Sets consistent with tablets and other platforms. Parental pin access for three levels of safety was also implemented.
We worked closely with the client to ensure that the user experience (UX) was appropriate for their TV Box Sets and consistent with their existing treatments for tablets and other platforms. Our goal was to handle the client-side development, using Native JavaScript with Tivo Library provided by the client. And to ensure safety provide parental pin access that can be set up for three different levels.
Our solution encompassed user experience design, client-side development, authentication, multi-STB support, DRM-enabled video streaming, and native JavaScript implementation to meet the client's needs effectively.
