Project Description

Kairos is a task and shift planning application that helps organizations streamline service delivery. When approaching Oodles, Kairos sought a SAAS-based self-rostering solution to enhance shift planning. The project involved developing a user-friendly platform with dynamic features for managers, planners, and admins, allowing users to create and manage schedules based on availability and preferences.

Scope Of Work

The client reached out to address their need for a robust shift planning solution that could efficiently manage scheduling and optimize resource allocation. The project aimed to develop a SAAS-based self-rostering application with a user-friendly interface for various roles, including managers, planners, and country admins. The solution provided dynamic features allowing users to create and manage shifts based on their availability and preferences. By developing this application, the project successfully empowered users to control their shift planning and significantly streamlined workforce operations, enhancing overall efficiency and flexibility.

Our Solution

We created a comprehensive solution for Kairos, empowering organizations to streamline their operations, manage tasks and activities effectively, and facilitate seamless payment processes for their workforce. Our solution for the Kairos project includes the following services and technologies:

  • Designed and implemented a robust system architecture to support the creation of multiple organizations and units within a country, facilitating the provision of different services.
  • Developed a comprehensive user management system that distinguishes various users based on their roles and access levels within the system.
  • Implemented advanced task and activity planning workflows, allowing users to create, schedule, and manage tasks for efficient service delivery.
  • Integrated payment functionalities that enable users to receive cash payments or earn rewards via a Timebank system.
  • Utilized AngularJS for the frontend development, Java for the backend, and leveraged MongoDB for data storage and retrieval. Additionally, Neo4j was employed for efficient data modeling and management.
