Project Description

Campeat, a food-tech startup, enables restaurants to attract diners during off-peak hours by offering hourly-based discounts through a mobile app. With a growing user base and increasing engagement, the client sought assistance in resolving app issues and integrating a new feature to boost platform reliability and expand functionality.

Scope Of Work

The project focused on fixing a predefined list of bugs that hindered app performance and affected user experience. Alongside debugging, the requirement included developing and integrating a new feature to enhance usability. The scope covered backend functionality and Android app development to ensure seamless execution.

Our Solution

The team began by reviewing the project’s existing structure to understand the technical gaps and identify the source of persistent bugs. Each reported issue was reproduced and resolved with targeted development efforts, prioritizing improvements in app responsiveness and stability. Following the debugging process, a new feature was developed and added to the existing flow, enhancing user interaction and operational performance. The development relied on Android for the app interface and Node.js for backend enhancements, both selected for their flexibility and scalability. These efforts not only ensured seamless functionality but also positioned Campeat to provide a more dependable and engaging experience to its users, especially during high-traffic promotional hours. Rigorous testing and code optimization further contributed to a polished and production-ready release, improving the overall reliability of the platform.
