Swees, a leading food manufacturing company in Thailand, focuses on delivering high-quality products while maintaining efficient operations. To support their growth, Swees needed a robust system to track inventory, manage orders, monitor sales, and calculate sales commissions. Using Odoo Community, Oodles Platform developed a centralized solution tailored to streamline these processes, enabling Swees to enhance productivity and scalability.

Scope Of Work

The client required an integrated platform to overcome challenges in managing inventory, processing orders, and tracking sales and commissions. The project aimed to:
 

  • Build a scalable system for real-time data tracking.

  • Automate manual workflows to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

  • Provide tools for accurate sales commission calculations and streamlined reporting.

Our Solution

Oodles Platform implemented a customized system within the Odoo Community to address Swees’ specific needs. The solution included:
 

  • Server Setup and Security: Ensured a secure server environment using Fail2ban and system configurations to prevent vulnerabilities.

  • Database Configuration: Installed and configured PostgreSQL to handle data reliably, creating a dedicated user with necessary permissions.

  • Source Code Integration: Cloned Odoo Community source code from GitHub and tailored it to support Swees’ business workflows.

  • Configuration File Customization: Created and optimized the Odoo configuration file with database credentials, admin settings, and add-on paths.

  • Development Setup in IDE: Integrated Odoo with Pycharm IDE, facilitating efficient module management and customization.

The implementation reduced manual tasks and improved efficacy. Swees now has real-time access to inventory, order tracking, and sales data. An automated commission system ensures transparency and boosts employee satisfaction.
