A leading real estate management firm approached Oodles to enhance operational efficiency and inventory management. The client focused on delivering superior property tracking solutions, required a robust system to centralize property data and optimize inventory processes. We responded by providing a custom Odoo app tailored to the client’s unique needs, driving improved visibility and streamlined workflows.

Scope Of Work

The client sought a comprehensive app to address property tracking and inventory management challenges. The project focused on creating a centralized system to track real estate assets, monitor inventory status, and ensure seamless data management. The solution covered developing a user-friendly interface, integrating inventory modules, and enabling efficient property tracking for better decision-making.

Our Solution

The project began with a secure server setup, ensuring stability and scalability. PostgreSQL was configured as the database server to handle high-volume data efficiently. The Odoo 17 Community Edition was customized to create a centralized app tailored to the client’s needs. 

Key features implemented included:

  • Property Tracking Module: Real-time tracking of property details with dynamic updates.
  • Inventory Management Integration: Streamlined inventory handling with automated stock tracking.
  • PDF Report Generation: Enabled with Wkhtmltopdf for detailed reporting and documentation. 
  • System Setup and Security: Configured a secure server environment with Fail2ban to enhance security.
  • IDE Integration: Configured the app in PyCharm for seamless development and easy module upgrades.
