Project Description

GameCast LLC set out to revolutionize live sports streaming for amateur sports organizations by making broadcasting accessible, affordable, and simple. The platform allows users to stream games from any location and device using an IP camera feed, giving fans the ability to watch live sports anytime, anywhere. The client aimed to support sports communities with a user-friendly system that delivers professional-grade streaming experiences without high-cost estimation.

Scope Of Work

The client required a streaming interface tailored to sports organizations that could capture and transmit live video feeds from IP cameras installed in stadiums. The system needed to support editing and routing the camera feed via pull RTMP to platforms like Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. Additionally, the solution had to include scheduling capabilities, support for multiple streaming destinations, graphic overlays, and user-friendly controls.

Our Solution

To fulfill the client’s requirements, we delivered:

  • Built a web-based interface to connect with IP cameras for live stadium feeds.
  • Enabled RTMP and RTSP streaming to public platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
  • Developed functionality to start, stop, and edit live streams with minimal user input.
  • Integrated support for multiple destinations to allow simultaneous broadcasts.
  • Implemented graphic overlay features for scoreboards, logos, and branding.
  • Optimized video compression and delivery using standard streaming protocols and CDNs.
  • Provided a scheduling system to manage upcoming games and broadcasting timelines.
