Qlikmatrix SEM & Analytics Pvt Ltd partnered with Oodles to redevelop KidsVault, an interactive content platform that facilitates competitions, blogs, and audience engagement. The platform required a complete overhaul of its web experience, focusing on smoother user registration, content moderation, and scalable backend logic for voting-based competitions.
Scope Of Work
The client needed a complete revamp of the KidsVault application, starting from Laravel-based architecture setup to frontend redesign and advanced voting logic implementation. Key requirements included a dynamic homepage, social sharing, voting visibility controls, and a multi-role admin panel. The platform also had to support user-generated content like blogs and photos with validations, as well as new features like PWA compatibility, chatbot support, and AdSense monetization. Stability, security, and mobile optimization were central to the deployment goal.
Our Solution
To meet the client’s goals, Oodles implemented the following:
- Set up Laravel architecture with GitHub, Jira, and SonarQube for efficient project management
- Redesigned the homepage and ensured responsive mobile views across devices
- Integrated dynamic blog categories with like, comment, featured, and trending filters
- Enabled photo dimension validation and uniform styling across image uploads
- Developed competition and winner pages with dynamic admin controls and multiple certificate support
- Built advanced voting logic with rank unlocks, history tracking, and visibility restrictions
- Integrated PWA features, including service worker and manifest for mobile compatibility
- Added Intercom chatbot and Google AdSense for user engagement and monetization
