The client sought Oodles to enhance platform scalability and streamline development processes. The project covered backend optimization, environment configuration, database integration, and service connectivity to enable smoother deployments, easier team onboarding, and consistent system behavior across environments.
Our Solution
To fulfill the client’s evolving platform needs, Oodles configured a production-ready Laravel-based architecture focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Key Features Implemented:
- Production Branch Setup: Cloned and configured the active production branch to maintain a consistent codebase.
- Environment Configuration: Streamlined Laravel setup with proper .env file structure and cache clearance to avoid runtime issues.
- Database Integration: Imported and connected the Wellsite data dump, ensuring full access to user and transaction data.
- Third-party Service Integration: Verified and maintained connectivity with Stripe for payments and Mailgun for email delivery.
- Port Configuration & Testing: Launched the application on port 8000 and performed functional checks.
