Project Description

The Moralis_test project involved building a decentralized application (dApp) prototype using the Moralis platform. The client sought a reliable partner to translate their concept into a functional prototype within a tightly managed agile framework. It focuses on delivering incremental results, and shared development insights. Oodles was tasked with establishing a technically sound, auditable, and extensible base for future Web3 application development.

Scope Of Work

The client required the creation of a functional Web3 prototype leveraging Moralis to fast-track development. The scope included designing user stories, implementing key modules through 2-week agile sprints, conducting detailed code and test audits, and ensuring weekly or biweekly demo sessions for iterative validation. The client also expected transparent tracking through time logs, code reviews, and ongoing stakeholder engagement. The development would be executed on a time-and-material basis, with scope flexibility based on evolving product requirements.

Our Solution

Oodles provided the following solutions:

  • Adopted an Agile methodology with 2-week sprint cycles for iterative development.
  • Held regular demos (weekly/fortnightly) to showcase progress and gather feedback.
  • Performed story grooming exercises with the Product Owner before each sprint.
  • Enabled client access to real-time timesheets, screen captures, and audit findings.
  • Built core dApp functionalities using the Moralis platform for Web3 backend services.
  • Conducted code reviews, audits, and test audits to maintain product quality.
  • Implemented a formal change approval mechanism for scope modifications.
  • Established time-and-material billing, with one sprint cost collected as an interest-free security deposit.
  • Outlined AMC/Support and assumptions through structured documentation tabs.
