Project Description
A B2B health-tech enabler, Kay Ventures empowers buyers to connect with verified manufacturers for quotation-based sourcing. With an expanding vendor network and RFQ complexities, the client needed a digitized interface to streamline buyer-manufacturer interactions. The platform demanded real-time data, responsive UI, and scalable functionality to ease sourcing operations and reduce turnaround time.
Scope Of Work
The client sought to rebuild an interrupted CI/CD pipeline and digitize their entire RFQ lifecycle—from buyer request views to manufacturer quotations with Oodles. The project spanned frontend improvements, backend integrations, and a functional bridge between buyers and manufacturers, covering quotation workflows, observation modules, and document handling in a responsive web environment.
Our Solution
To meet the strategic needs of Kay Ventures, the platform was set up with a GitHub-to-AWS CI/CD pipeline and a fully interactive RFQ system using modern JavaScript tooling and API integration layers. Our solution encompassed the following:
- Setup & Environment Configuration: Cloned project repo from Bitbucket and initiated with Node package setup. Developed locally and deployed via AWS with a modular frontend structure
- Buyer-Side Features: Designed intuitive manufacturer thumbnails and filtering options. Integrated auto-suggest functionality and grid filter menus.
- Manufacturer-Side Features: Built a structured buyer table with sorting and dropdown logic. Enabled dynamic data flow using REST APIs for real-time syncing
- Observation & RFS Modules: Constructed UI for observation forms with client-side validations. Supported media uploads and detailed responsiveness fixes.
