OnRes Systems is a web-based application developed for Jake that helps accommodation providers convert website visits into paid bookings through its online reservation system, AccomPro. It delivers inventory management and e-commerce technology to the travel industry, reducing administration time, improving website presentation, and supporting bookings with SU using third-party Payroll APIs and IRS integration.
Scope Of Work
The goal of the project is to design and develop a web-based platform to add SU features in OnRes Systems to support bookings with SU. The scope includes development using third-party Payroll APIs and IRS integration, along with analytics, reporting, and forecasting capabilities to facilitate booking management, as outlined in the project documentation and referenced scope materials.
Our Solution
The solution includes the design and development of a web-based platform using Dot NET/C# for front-end and back-end development, Azure as a production-ready container environment for deployment and system recovery, and SQL DB as the database system, along with development tools such as Visual Studio, Azure Remote Desktop, Time Tracker, and Skype/Gmail for communication. The setup involves creating a virtual environment, installing Python 3.5, Django 3.0.6, PostgreSQL 9.6, cloning the project repository, managing branches, installing dependencies, running database migrations, executing predefined management commands for User, CRM, PMS, Transaction, and CMS modules, and integrating Twilio for SMS services and AWS S3 for document storage, all performed within the virtual environment as defined in the setup guide.
