Project Description

SAT IPTV aimed to deliver a simple yet powerful live TV streaming experience via dedicated apps for LG Smart TVs and web platforms. The client wanted to launch a legal IPTV player app to stream live channels without requiring user sign-in or registration. The apps needed to be user-friendly, instantly accessible, and scalable for future feature expansions.

Scope Of Work

The client required IPTV player applications for LG Smart TVs and the web, designed to support live streaming of legal content without login procedures. The scope involved developing user interfaces, back-end infrastructure, and deployment pipelines. The apps were designed to provide a plug-and-play experience, stream live channels reliably, and support further enhancements in future phases. The client also required documentation, staging builds, and seamless DevOps integration as part of the deliverables.

Our Solution

To meet the client’s expectations, our team executed the following:

  • Developed LG TV app using webOS to stream a curated list of legal live channels.
  • Built a web application using HTML/JS/PWA frameworks for a cross-device streaming experience.
  • Implemented back-end services in PHP for data processing, media management, and API integrations.
  • Utilized SonarQube for automated code testing and quality assurance.
  • Managed source control using GitHub and conducted bi-weekly code reviews to maintain standards.
  • Deployed staging and production builds with setup documentation for client-side hosting.
  • Coordinated with a team including developers, DevOps, PMs, and QA for end-to-end delivery.
  • Followed time-and-materials billing with sprint-based planning, regular audits, and transparent communication.
