A France-based media-tech company with a strong presence in mobile streaming sought technical support to update the SDKs of its Android and iOS apps. Their goal was to ensure compatibility with the latest OS updates and maintain seamless app performance. Oodles delivered targeted SDK upgrades aligned with modern mobile standards.
Scope Of Work
The project aimed to upgrade outdated SDKs across Android and iOS platforms to support newer OS releases. The client faced issues with app stability and outdated API dependencies. The work included version upgrades, refactoring legacy code, resolving dependency conflicts, and ensuring backward compatibility through rigorous testing.
Our Solution
To address the client’s tight timeline and precision requirements, Oodles conducted an in-depth code review of the existing mobile infrastructure. The Android SDK was upgraded to version 6.0.2 and iOS to 6.0.1. Compatibility gaps and deprecated methods were refactored, and all relevant libraries were updated to align with the new SDK versions.
