A renewable energy analytics company focused on photovoltaic (PV) system diagnostics approached Oodles to streamline the deployment of their FLASH application. The client aimed to create a structured backend and frontend setup that could support independent developer onboarding and accelerate product rollouts.

The project aimed to eliminate setup complexities for the FLASH application by enabling a plug-and-play development environment. The client required configuration for both backend and frontend environments, database schema setup, and structured admin access for seamless user and data management.

Our Solution

To address the need for a robust and developer-friendly setup, Oodles structured a detailed deployment flow for the FLASH platform, covering backend and frontend configurations using Django, MySQL, and React.

Key Implementations:

  • Modular Development Workflow: Independent backend and frontend setups enabled isolated debugging and testing.
  • Role-Based Access Initialization: Easy creation of super admin and user accounts through Django’s native admin panel.
  • Virtual Environment Handling: Promoted clean dependency isolation using Python’s venv.
