Project Description

Network City approached Oodles to develop a scalable multiplayer city-building and resource management game centered around social interaction, progression mechanics, and economy-driven gameplay. The client required a cloud-native gaming ecosystem capable of supporting real-time multiplayer experiences, dynamic city expansion, integrated monetization systems, social collaboration features, and future-ready Web3 integrations.

Scope Of Work

The project focused on developing a large-scale multiplayer simulation platform with advanced gameplay mechanics, social engagement systems, monetization workflows, and scalable backend infrastructure. The scope included city-building gameplay development, resource and income management systems, XP and leveling mechanics, building upgrade workflows, social multiplayer interactions, leaderboard systems, group management, payment integrations, expandable grid architecture, NPC simulation, admin dashboard development, YAML-based configuration management, and cloud-native microservices infrastructure implementation.

Our Solution

To support scalable multiplayer gameplay and real-time interactions, Oodles developed a cloud-native gaming ecosystem powered by modular backend architecture and event-driven systems. Key Implementations include:
