Yafa NFT is a digital collectibles brand aiming to launch a 10,000-piece character-based collection on the Solana blockchain. The client envisioned an engaging NFT drop with defined rarity levels and “extreme combos” to attract collectors. They approached Oodles Platform for a scalable minting solution with secure trait logic, seamless wallet integration, and smart contract deployment.

The project required a custom NFT minting platform on Solana, complete with dynamic rarity assignment and trait generation. Key goals included developing minting logic, deploying smart contracts, enabling wallet connectivity, and integrating metadata storage. Areas of work covered blockchain backend, NFT metadata structuring, and minting UX optimization.

To deliver on the client’s vision, a custom NFT minting engine was developed using Rust on the Solana blockchain. The team built a secure and scalable smart contract to mint 10,000 NFTs with unique combinations of traits, each categorized into Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and hidden “extreme combo” tiers.
