Project Description

Helius is a blockchain-based insurance platform that aims to revolutionize the traditional insurance industry by introducing decentralization and automation. The client approached Oodles Platform to develop a trustless system where users can manage insurance policies, claims, and payouts independently. The project required secure smart contract development to ensure seamless, efficient, and fraud-free operations.

Scope Of Work

The objective was to build a decentralized platform that allows users to purchase policies, initiate claims, and receive payouts without third-party intervention. The project covered smart contract development, NFT-based policy management, dispute resolution, and governance integration—delivering a secure, transparent, and autonomous insurance ecosystem.

Our Solution

To meet the client’s goals, a fully decentralized insurance platform was built using Solidity smart contracts. The architecture ensures transparent policy handling, automated claims processing, and seamless payout distribution—eliminating manual intervention and third-party involvement.

The development process included:

  • Structuring smart contracts to manage insurance logic
  • Implementing an Admin Controller for contract-level governance
  • Building an Insurance Manager module to facilitate policy issuance and claims
  • Tokenizing insurance policies through NFT ownership
  • Introducing a Dispute Management System for fair resolution
  • Launching an ERC-20 governance token to enable decentralized voting
  • Creating a Treasury system to manage platform funds
  • Integrating a Mock Oracle for test data feeds
