Cargosrate approached Oodles to design the UI/UX for their global logistics platform, built to bring order to the fragmented systems and manual processes that logistics teams, freight forwarders, and exporters deal with daily. The platform needed a design that could handle the full complexity of multi-modal cargo operations while remaining accessible and efficient for users across varying levels of technical familiarity.
Scope Of Work
The project required Oodles to design across Cargosrate's full operational surface, covering shipment creation, booking management, real-time cargo tracking, billing, documentation, and compliance workflows across air, sea, and land freight. The platform serves four distinct user segments, each with different operational priorities: logistics companies and freight forwarders, exporters and importers, SMEs engaged in global trade, and enterprise clients managing large-scale supply chains. Translating these varied needs into a single, unified interface was central to the design approach throughout the engagement.

Oodles designed a unified platform experience for Cargosrate, structured around clarity, operational efficiency, and ease of use across a complex logistics environment.
1. Shipment and Booking Management: Workflows for creating shipments and managing bookings across air, sea, and land were designed to reduce manual input and give users a clear, structured view of their operations at every stage.
2. Real-Time Cargo Tracking: A real-time tracking interface was designed to give logistics teams, exporters, and enterprise clients consistent visibility into cargo status across all routes and transport modes, without needing to switch between systems.
3. Documentation and Billing: Automated documentation and billing flows were designed to handle compliance requirements and reduce the administrative overhead that typically slows logistics operations down.
4. Unified Dashboard: A centralised dashboard was designed to bring shipments, bookings, tracking, and account management together in one place, supporting collaboration and transparency across teams and client accounts.
