Project Description

OXMAN blends design, tech, and biology to create eco-friendly products and environments. They needed to enhance their web app's performance and user adoption. Oodles optimized Unity WebGL for browsers, built a Wardrobe system for clothing changes, and integrated .svg files for texture customization. The project also included enabling interaction between 3D files and backend inputs, improving overall functionality and user experience.

Scope Of Work

Oxman 3D engaged our development services to enhance their application's user adoption and performance, particularly by optimizing it for web browsers. The project encompassed several challenges, including facilitating interaction between Unity WebGL builds and browsers, implementing a Wardrobe system for cloth changing, and integrating .svg files to customize fill textures in shapes. Additionally, we collaborated on enabling interaction between 3D files and backend inputs for fabric and clothing patterns. Our scope of work also involved creating a seamless flow for users to select or change clothing styles within the application. Through our expertise and tailored solutions, we successfully addressed Oxman 3D's requirements, improving their application's functionality and usability.

Our Solution

Our team of Unity Developers and Backend developers meticulously analyzed Oxman 3D's existing SaaS application architecture to meet project requirements.

  • Leveraging Unity Engine, Python, and WordPress, we addressed the challenges presented by the client's need for browser optimization and enhanced user interaction.
  • We implemented API functionalities for new user registration, login features, and storage of user details such as age, height, and weight, including images of the user's face, body, and foot.
  • Seamless communication channels were established between the PHP-designed framework and Unity 3D avatar, facilitating interaction between the backend and frontend components.
  • A dynamic Wardrobe system was developed, allowing users to try on different clothing options within the application.
  • The frontend application provided precise body measurements and enabled users to select and visualize clothing items uploaded by 3D designers in the backend.
  • Our solution successfully improved Oxman 3D's application functionality and usability, enhancing user adoption and performance on web browsers.
