Project Description
The Streaming Stars platform entered Phase 2 to meet rising demand for one-on-one live-streamed events. The client wanted to expand features, improve responsiveness, and ensure secure event delivery. Oodles was engaged to enhance the frontend, strengthen backend logic for sessions and scheduling, and implement scalable DevOps infrastructure with automated deployments.
Scope Of Work
The client required a responsive and fully functional frontend with custom layouts for the home, event details, and checkout flows. They also needed secure login and social authentication, along with WooCommerce-based cart and payment integration. On the backend, the client needed user session handling, event scheduling with time zone support, and email workflows tailored to both dev and production environments. Additionally, the scope included configuring a complete CI/CD pipeline, Docker-based deployments, and setting up a scalable media server for real-time streaming.
Our Solution
To meet the project objectives, Oodles delivered the following:
- Customized global header, footer, and homepage layout for consistent branding
- Implemented event details page with real-time session validation
- Developed login and signup popups with social login and DB integration
- Customized WooCommerce cart and checkout flow with payment gateway support
- Ensured mobile responsiveness across all screens and layouts
- Built APIs to fetch user events with time-based filtering
- Modified join and schedule event APIs to align with new UI logic
- Handled user emails for scheduled events across dev and prod servers
- Managed time zone logic for accurate scheduling and user experience
- Configured Docker, Docker Compose, and NGINX for staging and production
- Set up Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
- Deployed and scaled Ant Media Server using an auto-scaling group
