Project Description
Pandocore is a decentralized streaming project designed to leverage distributed computing for efficient media delivery. It connects user devices to a shared network through Rametron—a node-based application that facilitates tasks like video transcoding and streaming. Users are rewarded with Proof-of-Network (PON) and Proof-of-Engagement (POE) incentives for participating in the ecosystem. The system includes a web application, iOS and Android apps, and a reward distribution mechanism.
Scope Of Work
The client required a complete decentralized video streaming ecosystem. The scope included developing Rametron apps for different operating systems, implementing PON and POE reward logic, and building scalable infrastructure using IPFS for video storage and Ant Media Server for delivery. Additional platform features included interactive video elements like likes, comments, emotes, and real-time engagement tracking. A robust backend system was also needed for managing nodes, tracking activities, and automating reward distribution.
Our Solution
To deliver a scalable and decentralized streaming network, Oodles implemented:
- Developed Rametron node applications for multiple platforms and operating systems
- Integrated IPFS for decentralized storage and Ant Media Server for real-time video streaming
