Belair Travels partnered with Oodles to develop the frontend for their flight booking platform using design prototypes and API collections shared by their team. The objective was to build a user-friendly interface streamlining the flight booking journey—from search to payment—while maintaining seamless API connectivity. The project followed an Agile methodology with two-week sprints, regular demos, and continuous feedback from the client.
Scope Of Work
The client required a functional frontend for their booking platform using Figma designs and third-party APIs. Oodles developed modules like flight search, listings, itineraries, passenger forms, seat selection, and payment gateway. The frontend integrated multiple APIs for real-time data with smooth UX. Oodles collaborated with the client’s backend team to resolve blockers and implement UI logic. Work was on a time-and-material basis, with changes managed post-formal approval.
Our Solution
To meet the project objectives, Oodles implemented the following solutions:
- Developed responsive frontend screens for flight search, filters, listings, and itineraries using Figma designs
- Integrated APIs for one-way/return flights, promo offers, top searches, bookings, and input capture
- Built dynamic modules for offers, fare rules, baggage, meals, travel insurance, and seat selection
- Integrated passenger detail forms and designed a multi-option payment module (cards, UPI, wallets, EMI, reward points)
- Enabled app download prompts through relevant APIs
- Followed Agile delivery with sprints, demos, code reviews, and continuous feedback
- Allocated dedicated effort for QA, bug fixes, and transparent reporting via timesheets and screen captures
