A U.S.-based communication service provider, known for streamlining enterprise telephony, approached Oodles Platform to build a centralized solution that could fetch and display real-time call data using RingCentral APIs. The goal was to minimize manual processes and improve visibility across key operational touchpoints.
The client sought Oodles for a system to automatically retrieve RingCentral call logs, structure them in a MySQL database, and visualize the data in a searchable interface. Areas of work included API integration, data mapping, cron job scheduling, and frontend development to support search, sorting, and improved data accessibility.
To meet the client’s needs, a custom solution was built using PHP, the RingCentral SDK, and a MySQL backend. The platform fetches and stores call log data from RingCentral servers through scheduled API calls, which are managed using cron jobs. A tailored frontend was created with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery, with added enhancements for data sorting, filtering, and improved accessibility.
