Project Description

A digital healthtech company focused on simplifying medical workflows sought a web-based portal to support clinical staff with real-time access to health records and tools. The client needed a responsive, lightweight frontend that could run locally and simulate a live server experience during testing. The engagement involved setting up a secure, fast-loading AngularJS interface with reliable login authentication.

Scope Of Work

The client sought a solution from Oodles for enabling clinical professionals to test and interact with a frontend portal prior to full-scale deployment. Key goals included reducing loading time, ensuring compatibility across systems, and offering secure access through login credentials. Areas of work included frontend configuration, performance optimization, server simulation, and access control setup.

Our Solution

To address the client's requirement for a reliable, local-accessible web portal, the frontend was built using AngularJS v1.6 and configured to run on Node.js v12+. The solution began by setting up a local server environment using the globally installed http-server package.

Key Features Implemented:

  • AngularJS-based single-page application structure for ease of testing
  • CLI-based deployment using http-server for instant preview and feedback
  • Role-based credential login for test users
  • Cross-platform compatibility (Windows 8+ and Ubuntu 16.04+)
  • Efficient performance without backend dependency.
