Project Description

The client partnered with Oodles to design Fusion Chat, a high-performance AI ecosystem that unifies conversational intelligence, image generation, and video tools. The project’s objective was to solve "platform fragmentation" by creating a single-pane-of-glass workspace. By prioritizing a centralized UX, the platform enables users to transition between chatting and creative generation without the cognitive load of switching applications.
Scope Of Work

Oodles was engaged to architect a seamless UI/UX across the Fusion Chat web platform and Chrome Extension. The scope focused on designing a high-density dashboard for multi-modal AI interactions and a frictionless premium upgrade flow. We developed the UX for a browser-integrated Side Panel and Search Engine widget, enabling rapid actions like grammar correction and research while allowing users to ingest live browser tabs for context.

A sophisticated, UX-centric design system was engineered for Fusion Chat to consolidate diverse AI capabilities into a cohesive, high-impact interface. The solution prioritizes spatial efficiency and rapid context-switching, ensuring a professional workspace for power users.

The strategic design architecture and core platform functionalities included:

  • Multi-Modal Command Center: Designed a unified dashboard that harmonizes text, image, and video generation, allowing for a fluid creative process within a single visual environment.
  • Ambient Chrome Side Panel: Developed a browser-integrated UI that brings AI-driven research, translation, and grammar tools directly into the user’s workflow without breaking focus.
  • Contextual Data Ingestion: Engineered a unique UX flow for "Tab Attachment," allowing users to feed active browser content directly into the AI for highly relevant, real-time assistance.
  • Dynamic Workspace Layouts: Created a flexible organization system featuring toggleable list/grid views and advanced search to manage high-volume AI conversations efficiently.
  • Conversion-Optimized Credit Flow: Designed an intuitive, non-disruptive monetization interface that surfaces credit usage and premium benefits natively within the creative workspace.
