Progressay is a pioneering platform that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to streamline the grading process for educators. By automating the marking of student responses, Progressay enhances efficiency. When Progressay approached Oodles, their goal was to optimize their cloud infrastructure and app workflow. In response, Oodles provided cost-saving recommendations by analyzing the existing infrastructure.

Scope Of Work

The client approached Oodles with the goal of optimizing their cloud infrastructure and app workflow to reduce operational costs. They were facing inefficiencies in resource utilization, leading to higher expenses. The project scope involved analyzing the cloud infrastructure to identify redundant resources and unnecessary expenditures. Additionally, the app workflow was assessed for bottlenecks that hindered efficiency. By evaluating these areas, Oodles provided tailored recommendations for streamlining processes, optimizing resources, and ultimately reducing costs for Progressay.

Our Solution

Through our comprehensive assessment and optimization strategies, we delivered a cost-effective solution that maximizes the client's resources and improves the overall performance of Progressay. Our solution for the Progressay project includes the following services and technologies:

  • Assessment of cloud infrastructure including services such as ELB, Route 53, CloudWatch, and RDS. And identified unused or underutilized resources that can be optimized or consolidated to reduce costs.
  • Analyzed the app workflow to identify any bottlenecks or areas for improvement that can enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cost optimization recommendations will provide detailed recommendations on how to optimize the cloud infrastructure and app workflow to achieve cost savings. 
  • Leveraged our expertise in DevOps practices to implement the recommended optimizations and ensure a smooth transition. Including automating processes, implementing infrastructure as code, and optimizing resource allocation.
