A fast-scaling US-based SaaS provider in the marketing automation space aimed to enhance client engagement through conversational AI. The client approached the Oodles platform to build a CRM-integrated chatbot capable of performing function calls based on user intent. The requirement included real-time syncing with GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM to reduce manual operations and boost campaign responsiveness.
Scope Of Work

The client sought Oodles for a custom chatbot that could understand user intent, interact with GHL CRM data, and trigger predefined workflows. The project covered areas of work such as intent recognition, CRM syncing, function call execution, and dynamic conversation flow. Services included chatbot development, third-party API integration, and NLP model implementation to ensure intelligent automation.

To fulfill the project goals, a tailored AI chatbot was developed and deployed within the GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM system.

  • Real-time Intent Detection: The system analyzed natural language input to accurately detect user goals across varied conversation scenarios.
  • CRM Data Fetching: Enabled seamless retrieval of contacts, notes, pipelines, and activity logs from GHL through secure API calls.
  • Function Triggering Engine: Performed backend tasks such as updating lead status, sending follow-ups, or triggering SMS campaigns via chat.
  • Fallback Routing: Any unrecognized queries were automatically routed to support agents or logged for training data enhancement.
  • Session Memory Handling: Enabled multi-turn conversations by retaining session data to improve response quality and consistency.
