Devinco AS is a Norwegian leader in integrated mobile solutions, specializing in resource management and field work documentation. The project required a tailored Zoho CRM integration to automatically capture and manage course sales data. Oodles provided deal creation, account matching, contact management, and deal contact role configuration within Zoho CRM.

Scope Of Work

The client approached Oodles to solve their need for a seamless integration between their course platform and Zoho CRM. They faced challenges in automatically tracking course sales, managing customer accounts, and maintaining accurate contact records. The project's goal was to develop a solution that included automated deal creation upon course purchase, intelligent account matching using organization numbers, and proper role assignment for course orderers and attendees.

Our Solution

Through our comprehensive solution, we provided Devinco AS with an automated and efficient CRM workflow that captures every course transaction directly into Zoho CRM:

 

  • Configured a trigger to automatically create a Won Deal in Zoho CRM upon course sale, with pipeline stage logic differentiating between paid (Betalt kurs) and free (Gratis kurs) courses.
  • Implemented account matching logic using organization numbers to associate deals with existing accounts, with automatic account creation when no match is found.
  • Built contact search, creation, and update workflows using email-based lookup, populating key fields and handling duplicate prevention.
  • Configured Deal Contact Roles to accurately assign Order Contacts as Kurs bestiller and attendees as Kurs deltaker, supporting cases where a single contact holds multiple roles.
