TrueInfo Labs approached Oodles to develop Vacation Buddy, an intelligent booking assistant chatbot designed to simplify and elevate the end-user booking experience. The requirement was a conversational system capable of guiding users through a structured booking journey, handling diverse input scenarios, and maintaining context throughout each interaction — all without friction or drop-off.

Scope Of Work

The engagement covered the full design and development of Vacation Buddy's multi-step conversational booking flow. Oodles was responsible for building an interactive, stateful chatbot capable of managing complex user scenarios while maintaining a seamless experience from first input to confirmed booking. Key areas of work included conversational flow architecture, state management, scenario handling, NLP integration, and user experience design.

Our Solution

Oodles engineered Vacation Buddy on a Node.js foundation, leveraging OpenAI's NLP capabilities to power intelligent, accurate, and context-driven conversations. Key deliverables included:
