Project Description

The client, operating in the Government and Public Sector (GPS), needed a robust cloud architecture and infrastructure support system to deploy secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The project also involved establishing governance, managing infrastructure security, and integrating with non-cloud services.

Scope Of Work

The client required a seasoned technical manager to oversee infrastructure design, cloud migration, and day-to-day operations within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involved designing and deploying secure, scalable environments for testing, development, and production, while ensuring alignment with both technical goals and business needs. The manager was responsible for crafting detailed architectural models and integration designs, all in compliance with FEDRAMP and FISMA standards. Key deliverables included the creation of Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs), Security Architecture Plans, and comprehensive Service Descriptions. The role also required conducting live demonstrations and presentations, integrating cloud solutions with third-party and on-premise systems, and offering recommendations for cost and performance optimization across the infrastructure.

Our Solution

To meet the client’s objectives, we delivered a robust and responsive cross-platform application with the following features and capabilities:
 

  • Built the app using React Native to ensure native performance on both iOS and Android
  • Integrated Google Maps API to enable real-time asset tracking, pinch-to-zoom, panning, and dynamic pin rendering
  • Connected the app to the existing RESTful API for seamless data synchronization and asset updates
  • Implemented real-time location tracking using WebSockets and background services
  • Enabled user location rendering with permission handling and device compatibility checks
  • Designed a responsive UI optimized for smartphones and tablets using a flexible layout system
