AION Validator Project

The project was about to set up a validator node on the AION blockchain network. The objective was to ensure stable participation in block validation, maintain uptime, and contribute to the network’s decentralized security. The project involved full-node setup, validator configuration, and integration with monitoring tools to ensure the node’s long-term reliability and performance.
Scope Of Work
The client needed to deploy a secure and highly available validator node on the AION network. This included setting up the core infrastructure, syncing the node with the blockchain, managing staking operations, and enabling remote monitoring for performance visibility. Additional requirements involved system hardening and optimal resource configuration.
Our Solution
To meet the validator requirements, Oodles delivered the following:
- Set up and synced a full AION node with mainnet using secure Linux environments
- Configured validator keys and enabled staking operations
- Hardened the server environment with firewall and fail2ban configurations
- Optimized node performance with resource tuning and SSD-based storage
- Integrated uptime and health monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana
- Conducted test runs to validate proper signing and participation in consensus
- Documented step-by-step deployment and recovery procedures
- Provided post-deployment support and validator performance reviews
