The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a prestigious statutory body established by the Government of India under the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act of 1956. As an apex organization under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, KVIC plays a vital role in planning, promoting, facilitating, organizing, and assisting the establishment and development of khadi and village industries across rural India. KVIC operates through various directorates dedicated to coordinating functions such as training, marketing and sales, employment, finance and budget, and research and development. With a strong focus on rural development, KVIC collaborates with other agencies to uplift and empower rural communities through the growth of khadi and village industries.
Our scope of work for the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) project is to develop an official e-commerce portal that aligns with the vision of "Aatmnirbhar Bharat" (self-reliant India) and promotes the growth of Khadi and Village Industries products. To achieve this, we will establish a special purpose company called KVIO Ventures Private Limited in a public-private partnership with KVIC. Through this e-commerce platform, we aim to provide a digital marketplace for all stakeholders to sell their products globally and enhance the popularity of Khadi and Village Industries. Our goal is to create a robust and user-friendly e-commerce platform.
