The client’s challenge was to resolve inconsistencies within its legacy datasets and ensure they were ready for Odoo import while maintaining data accuracy across multiple entities. At Oodles, we focused on data review, cleaning, restructuring for multi-company use, import testing, and deployment documentation. The goal was to streamline data adoption and ensure operational clarity.
Our Solution
We followed a multi-phase approach to prepare Growe’s data for Odoo 18 integration.
Key stages included:
- Data Review & Analysis: Audited CSV files to identify inconsistencies and structural gaps.
- Data Cleaning: Removed redundant fields, standardized column names, and deduplicated contacts and products.
- Data Structuring for Odoo 18: Reformatted datasets for multi-company use and Odoo import compatibility.
- Import Testing & Validation: Tested data in a sandbox environment, ensuring mapping accuracy and post-import integrity.
- Final Deployment & Documentation: Prepared datasets for production and delivered a comprehensive guide.
