Our Projects Multiangle Footage Organization
Project Description

Mason Landers approached Oodles with a requirement for a short-form video editing test focused on the initial stage of production. The objective was to organize raw footage, identify key moments, and build a structured timeline from talking-head and multi-camera recordings, ensuring clarity, pacing, and narrative flow before final polishing.

Scope Of Work

The project focused on early-stage video editing including organizing footage, selecting key segments, and constructing timelines from raw recordings. This included working with single and multi-camera setups, removing filler words and pauses, tightening pacing, and shaping a clear narrative. The goal was to deliver a clean, structured edit ready for final output and iterate based on pacing feedback.

Our Solution

Our solution for Mason Landers focused on structured editing and fast adaptation to evolving pacing expectations:

  • Analyzed raw footage to identify key narrative segments and removed redundant content to build a clear storyline
  • Organized clips and timelines with proper labeling to ensure efficient iteration and reduce rework during revisions
  • Applied multi-camera editing by syncing angles and switching based on speaker emphasis and visual clarity
  • Improved pacing by removing filler words, pauses, and non-essential dialogue to tighten overall flow
  • Adjusted editing approach based on feedback by increasing cut aggressiveness to reduce gaps and improve engagement
  • Maintained continuity while applying faster cuts to avoid disjointed viewing experience despite tighter edits
  • Delivered revised versions quickly with visible improvements in pacing and narrative sharpness
  • Provided final clean output without watermark, ready for immediate use and further deployment
