Bjorn Persson approached Oodles with a paid test project to create short-form product videos for a validation-stage travel pillow. The goal was to develop multiple 9:16 ad creatives using market-sourced content, focusing on strong hooks, structured messaging, and rapid production to test performance-driven angles for a Swedish audience.

Scope Of Work

The project focused on building performance-driven video creatives for product validation. This included developing five distinct concepts with multiple hook variations, researching competitor ads to identify winning angles, sourcing relevant footage, and structuring each video using Hook, Problem, Solution, Proof, and CTA. Deliverables required clean 9:16 outputs with script frameworks aligned for localization and iterative refinement.

Our Solution

Our solution for this project focused on balancing structured creative thinking with execution under speed constraints:

  • Conducted competitor and market analysis using Meta Ad Library and TikTok to identify proven creative patterns
  • Developed five distinct concepts with three hook variations each, aligned with awareness stages and validation goals
  • Built structured scripts designed for both caption use and future voice-over adaptation
  • Sourced and curated real product footage to ensure authenticity and align with market expectations
  • Executed edits with focus on retention using fast cuts, clear sequencing, and direct visual storytelling
  • Adapted direction based on feedback by removing voice-over, AI visuals, and embedded text for localization flexibility
  • Reworked outputs into clean master files with no overlays to support external text integration
  • Maintained parallel production across concepts to reduce delays while iterating based on early-stage feedback
